A Steampunk’s Guide to: Sofia [part two]

Vestigo. A secret society dedicated to technological progress but little more than a rumour. A dark hallway, an apartment stuffed with peculiar equipment. The bureau of a tinkerer. Books, technical drawings, a map of the world and behind you the door click shut silently.

Ever heard of an real-live room escape? Me not.
It’s a game. You get locked in a room with one hour left to decipher all the riddles and open the lock.
Vestigo is the newest of such rooms in Sofia and one of the first ever dedicated to the steampunk style. I got the opportunity to visit the room and solve one or two of it’s mysteries. So I can say: The problem is not to answer but to find the questions. The office of a Victorian engineer is decorated with such a passion for detail it takes you some time to open yourself to the wonderful atmosphere. You may also just play with all the steampunk gadgets. But than you’ll miss the best.
Luckily I will be in Sofia again in autumn. Than Vestigo Escape Room will be on my agenda.
